Join us for the 4th Annual Leelanau Maritime History Festival hosted by the Leelanau Historical Society — an engaging, family-friendly celebration of the region’s maritime history and its ties to the Great Lakes.

Includes access to permanent & rotating exhibits such as, Life on Lake Leelanau: Ripples Through Time, Shipwrecks of the Manitou Passage, lighthouse and ship models, and more. - Community Partners & Demonstrations

This year also commemorates the 20th anniversary of the live exhibit “Wood Boats on the Wall.” Beginning at 10:00 AM, stroll the Leland River boardwalk behind the museum to admire a lineup of classic wooden boats—Chris-Craft, Century, Garwood, and other vintage watercraft—accompanied by their knowledgeable captains ready to answer your questions.
