Grand Traverse Lighthouse Picnic & Beach Party

Two great events, one phenomenal cause. Come enjoy an amazing afternoon and/or evening and support the Grand Traverse Lighthouse.
The Great American Picnic from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM. Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon on the lakeshore featuring outdoor games, a Pirate Scavenger Hunt, and the opportunity to drive a Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV). Picnic fare will be available for purchase, including hot dog meals, brat meals, pulled pork sandwiches, and Moomers Ice Cream. Bring the family and celebrate summer at one of Michigan’s most scenic historic landmarks.
The Lighthouse Beach Party from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Enjoy a classic summer picnic in a beautiful lakeside setting featuring smoked pulled pork and brat meals, beer, wine, and margaritas, outdoor games, raffles, and more. The evening will feature live music by Doc Probst and the Riptides and a fun Jimmy Buffett & Island Vibes theme, so break out your Hawaiian shirts, flip-flops, and beach hats!
