French Valley Vineyard

Inspired by life in Leelanau County

French Valley Vineyard is located on 70 spacious acres in the heart of Leelanau County, just minutes from the natural temperature regulator, “The Great Blue” Lake Michigan. Our unique soils are perfect for growing the grapes needed to produce fine French-style boutique wines, from our estate-grown varietals. These varietals have come to include Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Frontenac Gris, and Marquette.

Tucked back from the road, guests are transported from everyday life to an expansive oasis complete with cherry trees, waving wheat, and of course, grapevines. Walk the trails, explore the vineyards, push the kids on the swings, throw a ball for the dog, or cozy up to a bonfire after skiing or snowshoeing the trails while enjoying our estate-grown wines. Oh, and come hungry, our food menu is sure to satisfy diners of all ages.

The Barn at French Valley Vineyard, our fully restored, Amish-built centennial barn, is idyllic and charming with seemingly endless 180-degree views of the surrounding rolling hills, making a stunning setting for your wedding or special event. Manicured lawns provide ample space for tents of all sizes to allow fine-tuning and customization to suit your vision. Our newly renovated tasting room is located adjacent to The Barn and boasts an eclectic French – Industrial flare and spacious patio. Whether you choose to host your event at The Barn, the Tasting Room, or both, we’re confident our unique fusion of location, hospitality, and world-class wines will set the tone for an experience of a lifetime.
