The Anchor Inn

This quaint row of cottages and rooms, hidden beneath ancient cedars, is your no-frills, rustic, camp-like experience established in the 1940s. Run by folks who dig a more nostalgic feel and can appreciate the quirks as well as the character of old spaces. The doors are tricky, the 80 year old windows are far from energy efficient, and the cedar trees provide a constant cool dampness. We decorate the rooms with vintage & antique finds and enjoy creating what we hope is a cozy atmosphere for your ‘up north’ escape.

Renovated in 2023, the largest space at the Anchor Inn with 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath comfortably sleeping 6 adults. Open concept kitchen, dining and living with almost all windows having a water view. Back deck and lawn provide a private outdoor dining space for grilling and games. Two bedrooms have queen beds and the third has a set of twin beds.

The rustic nature of Anchor Inn is part of its charm. So if you’re on a tighter budget and looking for a unique stay with a private beach, we hope you’ll consider staying with us. We know this area can be very expensive in peak season, but we hope to offer a fun and interesting experience for everyone!
